a curious content creator helping you tap into your limitless creativity and design a beautiful life.
I got my start in the media world as the face of Refinery29’s video team, and today, I create original video content for an audience of millions across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
But I wasn’t always an aspiring creator...
First, I was a pre-med Neuroscience major at Johns Hopkins University.
That’s right...when I entered my freshman year at JHU, I was set on becoming a doctor. I was in love with watching surgical procedures on TV, and I thought I’d become a plastic surgeon, a dermatologist, or a neurosurgeon. I began taking neuroscience classes and diving into my pre-med curriculum, but then, just like that…
I started producing a video series for the Johns Hopkins University’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions and was introduced to the world of digital video production. I fell in love.
Within a year, I had made 6 appearances on NBC’s TODAY Show as a Millennial spokesperson, and 3 years later I landed my first job as an Associate Producer at Ogilvy & Mather. Through the power of networking, I was introduced to the emerging video team at Refinery29 and began my on-camera career.
I was hired to produce & host their YouTube videos, and I created a handful of formats including “Try Living with Lucie” (where I took on social experiments for 5 days at a time), and “Lucie for Hire” (where I tried out other people’s jobs for a day). I gave a TEDx talk about the power of trying new things, and my series won Telly Awards for Best Webseries & Best Lifestyle Content.
I signed with UTA in Los Angeles and established my own media company. Today, as the president of Lucie Fink Media, Inc., I work with brands to create high-quality, original content, and my mission is to help aspiring content creators around the world unleash their boundless creativity and learn the skills they need to create their own epic content and live out their wildest dreams.
I offer digital courses as well as 1-on-1 coaching and consulting services, and I work to share educational and inspiring content every single day.
I live with my husband, Michael…my high school sweetheart! We got married in 2019 after 10 years of dating (including 5 years in a long-distance relationship!).
When I first launched The Real Stuff Podcast, I was itching to connect with my audience on a deeper level. Most podcasts bring on influencers or celebrities as the guests in every episode, but I knew I wanted to hear from you.
The truth is, the world is full of so many incredible people, and everyone is going through a unique and interesting experience. If we just take the time to listen to one another (without judgment), I know we’ll all feel a little bit less alone in everything we’re going through.
