Is sugar the new smoking? I always knew that sugar was bad for my dental health but didn’t know it was potentially deadly! So, this week I am cutting it out for 5 days and seeing just HOW bad sugar is for you! After a little research I learned some sugar is actually good for you (we see you fruit and honey!) while processed sugar is the one that needs to be avoided. It was crazy to see how much sugar was in everything, even my morning oatmeal. In the past I had trouble falling asleep at night, but without eating sugar I realized that I fall asleep much faster and sleep better. All in all I learned that sugar is just really not that necessary and I could be feeling so much better if I tried to eat less of it!
