Highlighting My Hair At Home: Hair Transformation with Box Color

Getting my mom to highlight my hair from home! I generally color my hair a couple of times a year, and I was just about to have my blonde highlights / balayage touched up before the quarantine. My highlights have been growing out quickly and, consequently, my hair overall was beginning to appear darker than normal. I love that feeling of adding blonde tones to my hair and watching my entire look brighten up in just a couple of hours. I prefer warm yellow / buttery tones, and I was so excited to give myself a color refresh at home with my mama! I used highlighting kits that I got from my local drugstore (one is from Garnier and one is from L’Oreal). I’d say my at-home highlights turned out pretty GREAT! Coloring your hair at home isn't as difficult as you'd think it is (especially if you have someone helping you who can get those hard-to-reach places). Have you tried coloring your hair at home or cutting your own hair at home?!
