I grew up around pets and absolutely love them! When I got invited to Harlem Doggie Day Spa it was an instant yes. Spending the entire day with puppies is a no brainer for me! However, I quickly learned that loving dogs and grooming them is an entirely different experience. My good friend brought her dog, Bao Bao for me to groom and thankfully he was already comfortable around me. After a few scratches and a ton of water in the face, he was clean and then we moved on to grooming. I did my best, but taking scissors to a wiggly puppy takes talent. After this experience I can confidently say I am so grateful for all the dog groomers out there making our lives so much easier!
