There is nothing quite like a mug of warm apple cider. It is arguably, one of the best fall and winter time drinks. Today, I am visiting Samascott Orchards to see if I have what it takes to make it from scratch… right off the farm. I started with visiting the orchards and sorting through the apples and ended selling it right off the street! This was so cool for me getting to visit this massive farm that sells everything from fresh produce to popcorn and baked goods. The location was beautiful, but the work was pretty intense. The amount of effort that goes into making the cider, even on the front end of keeping the trees healthy and strong is A LOT and definitely something that takes an experienced farmer!
