I Tried Being A Professional Makeup Artist For A Day | Lucie For Hire | Refinery29

Today I am working with Stefani Paige Vivian to see if I have what it takes to be a professional makeup artist! We are going to be on set with Refinery 29 for the day so that I can learn and put my skills to the test. Stefani’s story is a little more unique than most as she never went to beauty school and left college with 85K in debt. Most of what she learned is through trial and error - kind of like what I’ll be doing today! Working with makeup is challenging because you have to keep everything in order, sanitary and safe for the client if they have any allergies of preferences. Not to mention the raw talent that is hard to teach! Overall, I learned a lot of new makeup techniques but this is definitely more challenging than I expected!
