My College Admissions Story: Applying With My Twin to Johns Hopkins University

My college application story: Johns Hopkins University. This video covers my personal experience of applying to colleges in 2009-2010. I know that much of the process has changed over the years, but I think some of the general tips still apply! Part of this process that is slightly different from your typical teenager application journey is that I applied to colleges with my twin sister, Allie! Going to the same school wasn’t really a question for us to consider; we knew we wanted to be in the same place. We were a package deal! We asked every school we applied to if they would kindly accept us both or reject us both as one of us wasn’t coming without the other. It worked out…We ultimately got accepted, waitlisted, and denied at all of the same schools! Here is a deeper look at how I applied to college and some college application advice! I worked in the admissions office at Johns Hopkins, and working alongside the Admissions counselors taught me a thing or two about how it all works!
