I was filming with Milo’s baby monitor open while he was taking a nap, and I didn’t even realize that you could hear his sound machine playing the entire time. I hope it’s not too distracting for you!! At this point, I don’t even hear the monitor sounds because it’s basically playing in the background all day and all night. #IYKYK

Welcome to another week in my life as a new mama in NYC! I’ve been loving vlogging recently, and with my 30th birthday approaching, I wanted to turn the camera on and just give you a little life update! This was a hot summer week in NYC so I took to a trip to the park with our Mommy & Me group and also found a park with some fountains that we ran through together. We are truly making memories and living in the good ‘ol days! I hope you like just hanging out with me in my NYC apartment while I chit-chat and have coffee and breakfast. These are some of my favorite vlogs to watch, so I hope you feel the same way! I’ve been adjusting to life as a new mom and adjusting to a new pumping and feeding schedule (also navigating mastitis…yikes!). In this vlog, I share more about my experience with mastitis. If you’re following along with me on Instagram (@luciebfink), you may have heard me share some more about my experience in real-time. My doctor gave me some antibiotics and I got better pretty quickly, but it did alter my supply a bit, so I decided to use this as a starting point for a slow and steady weaning journey. Phase one of this was cutting out one nursing session and replacing it with a formula feed. You know me, I like to keep you *abreast* of my nursing journey (pun intended!).
